Hey everyone. My buddy got me hooked on these fun machines. He has 4 race mowers and he let me use his 71 Bolens for a race, the Bolens is lightly modified, but it was the most fun I have ever had. So a couple days later I picked up a mower of my own. Shes a 1975 Gilson(model I have no clue) it has an 11hp B&S and a 6 speed transaxle. We dont have an official racing league yet but we are hoping that we will get more people interested in this sport. So our class is just run what ya brung. I am open to any suggestions and anything that will help me and my mower be the best we can. Oh and the first race I did on the Bolens we ran in an parking garage that we are allowed to go in after hours, so i know I will be spending quite a bit on tires because we run on concrete, pavement and dirt.
